Getting Started

This is the first of many blog posts I’ll be adding. This is a bit of a milestone. I have been considering and contemplating a website to publish all my writings. Yet, I have held back afraid to let others read what comes out of my mind. Mostly, I’m insecure like the rest of the human race. I could go without ever hearing feedback on anything I write, but I am also an artist and a creator. It is in my nature to share the contents of my mind as some of these thoughts are just too entertaining not to share.

What am I hoping to get out of this experience? Why did I set up a website? Who is Sister Maria? Answers will unfold in time, but this experience will allow me to connect with an audience I’m not yet aware of. I need the website to share my content. There’s no better way to share experiences and emotions than through a website. That’s a lie, in person is always better, but I can’t meet everyone in person (assuming someone reads this).

As for who Sister Maria is, that’s obvious - it’s me! That’s not my real name, but it is meant to evoke a feeling of sisterly love and guidance. I love everything about being in nature and connecting with the world around me. I believe in the power of the universe (some may call it God), and I believe above all else, we are all entitled to happiness.
